Every year, The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Louisiana provides a scholarship opportunity for graduating high school seniors in the community, The Eddie G. Robinson, Sr. Be Great: Graduate Scholarship. Its mission is to provide inspiration, encouragement, and assistance to high school seniors that desire to pursue post-secondary education and/or training. This scholarship was named in honor of our first board president and legendary Grambling State University football coach, Eddie G. Robinson, Sr. This is an opportunity available to any high school senior with the desire and ability to pursue and attain necessary skills and/or ability to become a positive, productive member of society. This year’s recipients of the 2017 Eddie G. Robinson, Sr. Be Great: Graduate Scholarship are as follows: Nathan Anderson – Choudrant High School, Aaron Clark – Cedar Creek School, Ty Rodgers & Breanna Blades – Bethel Christian School, Markayla Johnson – Weston High School, and Jasmine Manausa – Jonesboro Hodge High School. We congratulate each of these students on their achievements and wish them luck in their future endeavors!
Our organization is growing and we are always looking for help and volunteers to aid in our after school programs. The addition of meaningful and impeccably stylistic animation engages users on a completely different level.Donate
